Using AI Tools to Augment Your Training Program
Presented by Kate Creegan.
Using AI tools to augment your training program can help you realize that boost in results in record time. In this session, we’ll talk about inexpensive tools and easy techniques that boost engagement and save development time and money.
In 2020, COVID-19 and the expansion of remote work caused a surge in the need for remote training. We saw the associated spike in LMS implementation and job postings for Instructional Designers. Four years later, some are returning to offices and some are not. We’ve seen the benefits of asynchronous and blended learning programs and we can’t go back. At the same time, our audience is more sophisticated than ever. Millennials and GenZ are digital natives and have higher expectations than “read this and sign off”. We have a huge need for electronic and accessible content, but at the same time, budgets are tighter than ever—and Training is the first thing to get cut.
By leveraging AI innovation, learning professionals can make better use of training development and delivery time and really stretch the budget but not lose any of the customization our employers expect. Need custom art? Does your voiceover sound bad? Have a high stakes learning event coming up? AI can help.
In this session we’ll discuss:
- Boosting engagement and retention with AI-generated graphics, voiceover, and video.
- Leveraging AI for quiz-building and other repetitive tasks
- Deploying AI-assisted accessibility measures
I’ll also provide a list of tips, resources, and inexpensive, beginner-friendly tools to help you get started.
