Dairy Farmers of America (DFA) has one of the largest networks of logistics operations in the United States delivering milk products and ice cream nationwide. In this discussion, Keith will present the tools and programs being developed to comply with the rapidly changing standards associated with tractor trailer operations. He will provide examples of what the Government uses to measure and monitor and the programs DFA deploys. At DFA, we strive to be one of the safest and trustworthy truck operations on the roadway.
Keith Murphy is a Senior Director for Dairy Farmers of America in the Northeast, supporting the execution of programs and portfolios in facilities across the region. With 30 years of experience in logistics and operations management he has successfully deployed quality and Six Sigma tools daily. He is a lifelong learner who seeks opportunities to add to his skill set when possible. As Aristotle stated, “Quality is not an act. It is a habit.” In many cases quality and processes can be life changing in the logistics industry. Keith has 3 daughters and lives in Norton MA.
