Voice of Quality: How Emerging Professionals Can Shape Culture and Drive Collaboration
Presented by Attrayee (Atty) Chakraborty
As an early-career professional in the medical device and pharmaceutical industries, I’ve gained valuable insights from both R&D and Quality perspectives. In R&D, I observed a disconnect in how quality principles were understood and applied. In Quality, I learned how critical effective communication is in aligning cross-functional teams toward shared goals.
This interactive solutions circle will explore practical ways for young professionals to foster a culture of quality within their organizations. Topics include taking initiative through activities like Lunch and Learns, gaining visibility and credibility, and effectively managing Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA). We’ll also discuss how to enhance communication, build accountability, and apply empathy to strengthen collaboration across diverse teams.
Ultimately, the session will focus on how early-career professionals can bring fresh perspectives to influence management, embed quality into company culture, and confidently communicate with authority while steering their own professional growth.
